Our guides, blog posts and tools are general information. They are not a diagnosis, treatment plan or professional advice, and they cannot replace an examination by a veterinarian who knows your cat. If your cat seems unwell, or may have eaten or touched something toxic, call your vet or a pet poison helpline now.
No veterinarian client relationship
Reading MeowWise, using our tools or emailing us does not create a veterinarian client patient relationship with anyone. The MeowWise team are not your veterinarians, and we cannot give advice about an individual animal.
Accuracy
We base our pages on reputable sources such as veterinary schools, veterinary associations, poison helplines and government agencies, and we list those sources on each page. Even so, research and guidance change, and errors can happen. We do not guarantee that any page is complete or current. The toxic plants and household items checker lists only items we could source; an item that is missing is not necessarily safe. Please report mistakes to joshuaofisrael@gmail.com.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
MeowWise currently has no advertising, sponsored content, paid links or affiliate links, and nobody pays us to mention a product. If we add any in the future, we will disclose them clearly on the pages where they appear, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rules on endorsements and testimonials, and we will update this page.
